A project hosted by the Zoological Society of London ZSL

Our aim is to make the Mataki system as open and accessible as possible. We believe that providing access to low-cost, flexible hardware is the best approach to encourage innovation in tracking approaches and to enable researchers to address novel questions at important scales.

As such, we are providing access to the designs, schematics, layouts and parts lists for the hardware and we have made the firmware source-code openly available at Github. We would encourage people to explore ways of improving these designs. We hope that this approach will foster a community of users around these tools such that revisions and improvements will benefit us all.

Schematics and Designs

These schematics provide the neccessary information to have devices made by fabrication companies. Each pack below includes the neccessary parts list, schematics and layout files for purchase and assembly.
